My Approach

At the beginning of each project, I ask authors to provide:

  • Character guide: personality, accent, and key traits

  • Pronunciation guide: names, places, and non-English words

This helps me make sure the characters and world sound exactly as you imagined them.

I’m open to creative challenges. I’ve performed a wide range of accents and vocal styles, from British dialects to Spanish and Indian accents. With guidance from authors, I’ve spoken lines in languages such as Latin, Hindi, and Mandarin, and even sung lyrics written into stories.

I produce my audiobooks through ACX and handle all recording, editing, and mastering in my home studio. Managing the full production process myself allows me to maintain consistent performance and audio quality from the first chapter to the last.

As I record, I carefully review each chapter for errors and edit along the way. Once the full audiobook is complete, you’ll receive the project for review along with one round of revisions to ensure the final performance reflects your story.

How It Works

  • We’ll discuss your book, timeline, and expectations. At this stage, you’ll provide a brief character guide (personality, accent, and key traits) along with a pronunciation guide for names, places, and any non-English words so I can accurately represent your characters and world.

    During this time, I’ll also read through the book and reach out with any questions before recording begins.

  • Before full production begins, I’ll record a 15-minute sample through ACX that includes key dialogue and character voices. This is the stage where authors can request adjustments or change their mind about character voices or style.

    Once the 15-minute check is approved, voice or style changes cannot be made.

  • Once the 15-minute check is approved, I record, edit, and master the full audiobook through ACX. I handle the entire production process to ensure consistent audio quality from start to finish.

  • When the full audiobook is complete, you’ll receive the project in ACX to review. This is your opportunity to note any corrections such as misreads, mispronunciations, or missing text.

  • I complete one round of revisions based on your notes before submitting the finished audiobook through ACX.

    ACX then performs a technical quality check to ensure the audio meets their standards before publishing the audiobook to Audible and other retail platforms.
